I have been extremely lazy with uploading any snaps from NYC – mainly because my camera broke somehow so most of the images are kinda pixel-y. I’m sure some camera guy would just flick a switch or change a setting and it’d be back to normal but, I am not that camera guy. Anyway, this is the first installment, the pics are all mashed up because they are coming from two camera’s… sozzums! xxx

HOLY SHIT, the garment district there is so very wonderful – so very full of shit I don’t need to carry back to Oz with me, but so much I was desperate to. Spandex World was my personal fav. Who was the genius that had thought to combine my absolute favourite prints all into one fabric! Camo, leopard, glitter, rainbow tie-dye, and a metallic snake skin finish!

Just horsing around?

My hair is naturally curly. I’m over straightening it. It’s not crimped, this is el naturale – embrace the fuzz. Mop tops unite.

Possibly two of my favourite purchases: necklace from Patricia Field (fucking love it, hyper colour and feathers and chain, wooooohoooo) and singlet by the infamous Mishka brand. Jake and I both went a little cwazy in that store, we went to the opening in Brooklyn – it was like the internet turned 3D.

We went to Century 21 – it scared the hell outta me. This label scared me even more. What a positive message to send! Let’s all be somebody else – fuck yourself!

Anyway, NYC was incredible in every way I’d hoped – it really is the city that never sleeps! Can’t wait to get back there ASAP!
