Finally! We couldn’t find big copies of runway pics, so we had to simply blow ‘em up, mind the slight fuzz! Some of the outfits came out looking somewhat different to what we imagined (with only seconds to dress the models, we know this happens!) but overall, we were THRILLED :)))))))))) !!!!!!!! We hope for all those who couldn’t be there, that these pictures capture the energy and vibe of the night! xxxx

We just wanted to write and thank all the people who came to the Penthouse Mouse Runway on Friday night… we were both completely, staggeringly overwhelmed with the utterly incredible support… it was the most exciting night of DI$COUNT’s life! We want to thank all the people who made it happen, super stylist Connel Chiang, Kate from Moth Design, DJ Kiti, Molly Herben and Soffa Jacobs for saving our asses backstage, all the dressers and make up team and everyone else working their asses off for the sake of FASHION! Woooooooooo!! Also, thanks to Jake Collins for giving us a hand putting the film together and with music direction – he posted the runway song below – it’s AMAZING! And of course, congratulations to all the other designers in the show – the evening was spectacular! :D

For all those who weren’t there, this quick recap film was projected on the wall just before the models came out, the music unfortunately didn’t work so we wanted to post it here! And for all those who were there, THANK YOU for saving us with the huge DI$COUNT chant! It was the most unbelievable feeling… there is no comparison.

Last Friday night the Penthouse Mouse Launch party was on. It was a night of meeting and greeting, Sapporo and good ol’ fashion-y fun times. For those not Melbourne-based, Penthouse Mouse is a temporary pop-up shop that is held during L’Oreal Fashion Festival, they stock loads of Australian Independent Designer labels and throw a big party to kick off the week. We are so so so excited to announce that we have our first ever runway in under 2 weeks! It is part of a group designer show for Penthouse Mouse and L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. We are super psyched, horrifically nervous and hoping to hell all the work comes together on time! We are so busy our blogging has become somewhat pathetic, but we are updating on our FACEBOOK quite often and we’ll be posting regulary there with photos, news and updates about the show!
